Mantra

Mantra is the name of the book I am reading at the moment. Written by Rodrigo Fresan, translated into French. It couldn't be a better choice of reading for my Mexico début as the story is shared between two places: Mexico City and Paris. What a coincidence. It's quite a strange story...I am doing my best to bypass it's weirdness because it makes many a references to Mexican culture and history. That's what makes me tick. Just the other day I was reading a passage where the narrator speaks about Templo Mayor...which I just visited on my second day here. It's as if I am living my life in parallel with the story...omitting the quirkiness, thank you.
